HOW DO I DONATE?

Donating is easy. Simply drop by our warehouse facility anytime during business hours and place your items in the designated bin. We are not currently offering pick up service.

You do not need an appointment for drop off donations unless you plan to drop off a household or large box truck worth of donations. Please email or call to set up very large quantity donations. Thank you!
IS THERE ANYTHING WE CANNOT ACCEPT?

All items for donation must be in good condition for resale. We do not perform repairs or recondition pieces for sale. Clothing in wearable condition is preferred, although we can recycle some clothing and textiles.
We cannot accept:
-
Used mattresses or boxsprings
-
CRT televisions
-
Soiled, unsanitary, or biohazardous items
-
Broken or very worn furniture
DO WE OFFER PICK UP SERVICE FOR LARGE ITEMS?

We do NOT offer pick up service. We do not have plans to implement this service at this time. Drop-off donations are accepted during business hours everyday.
If you cannot bring your items yourself, we can refer you to Haul-N-Junk who can pick up your items for a fee and deliver them to us at your request. They also offer junk disposal. www.haulnjunk.com
IS MY DONATION TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

Yes. The Mercy Warehouse is a 501c3 non-profit and as such, any donations are tax deductible. Please ask for a donation receipt when you drop off your items. The Mercy Warehouse does not provide a valuation on your donation. You may fill out your receipt yourself. If you need help knowing what your items are worth, try this valuation guide.
HOW CAN I PREPARE MY DONATION BEFORE DROPPING OFF?

Our outdoor donation area is divided into several categories.
Pre-sorting your donations prior to arrival makes your drop off smoother and our job a little bit easier. Bins are labeled as follows:
-
Clothing/Linens (includes shoes)
-
Electronics
-
Books
-
Large frames
-
Seasonal
-
General (anything not fitting into an above category)
-
Furniture does not have a bin, but the area behind the bins is designated for furniture
